Restoring Harmony processes your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This Privacy Policy, effective from April 2025, describes the policies of Restoring Harmony on the collection, use, storage and disclosure on the information we collect when you use our website and/or engage with our services. By accessing or using the service, you are consenting to the collection, use, storage and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not consent to the same, please do not access or use the service.
How we use your information
It is necessary for us to process your personal data (name, address, contact details, etc), under the GDPR article 6 for the performance of a contract. We will also process special category data (health, personal and household circumstances) as necessary for article 9 explicit consent.
A delay in you providing the information requested may result in a delay in providing appropriate services.
We will use the information that we collect about you for the following purposes:
Service provision
Information provided will be used solely in the provision of a service.
Marketing/ Promotional
If we want to use your contact information for marketing purposes, we will ask for your consent to do so.
How long we hold your information
We will only hold your information for as long as is required by law and to provide you with the necessary services. This is likely to be for seven years after you have ceased to engage with our services, unless you request otherwise.
Information sharing
Your information will not be shared with anyone without your explicit consent, unless forced to do so via Law. However Restoring Harmony does use third party software to collect and store your data (see below).
Information storage
Wherever possible, the information you provide will be stored electronically and password protected using third party software, (Google Calendar, Google Forms, Google Mail, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, etc). Forms may also be downloaded and stored on a password protected hard drive. Where hard copy forms are used at the request of the client, these forms will also be storage electronically and the original hardcopy either destroyed or kept in a locked folder.
Your Rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may have a right to access and rectify or erase your personal data, receive a copy of your personal data, or withdraw any consent you provided to us to process your data. To request this please contact us at contact@restoring-harmony.co.uk
